Sometimes when we see a room for the first time it can be a bit overwhelming even for us. If that’s how we feel imagine how it is for child or teenager.
We start by having a conversation with the children in their room.

Our volunteers dedicate their time to painting and repairing furniture in our workshop for the room.
About a week prior to the room transformation, we meet with the child or teenager to assist them in sorting through items they no longer need or want. It's often easier for the kids to collaborate with our volunteers than with family members. By the end of the session, the children typically have bags filled with items they wish to donate, meaningful belongings they want to keep, and some things designated for disposal.
Before we start the room makeover, we ensure the space receives a thorough cleaning.
